Chelsea Yet to Offer Star Defender a New Contract - Reports

Chelsea center back Antonio Rudiger is drawing in interest from a few clubs in Europe as the Blues are yet to offer him an agreement to sign.

Rudiger had splendid season in 2020-21 at Stamford Bridge. Having been frozen out of the principal squad picture by previous head coach Frank Lampard, the German international featured in a critical part under Thomas Tuchel as the Blues lifted the UEFA Champions League.

In spite of his amazing exhibitions for Chelsea in the second half of the season, Rudiger is yet to be offered an agreement expansion. The Mirror asserts that an offer could come after the Euros this mid year. 

Considering Rudiger has quite a year left on his  contract, Tottenham Hotspur are among a few different clubs that are hoping to exploit the circumstance and offer him an agreement before Chelsea this late summer.

Thomas Tuchel needs Antonio Rudiger to remain at Chelsea 

Tuchel restored Rudiger not long after taking over in January recently. The German head coach said a month ago that the defensive's exhibitions justified another agreement. 

"Nothing is superior to how he is doing another agreement," Tuchel said seven days ago." 

"On the off chance that he needs to have another agreement he has our full help to remain at the club. He has been astounding since the very beginning," he added.
