France striker Olivier Giroud has kidded that if his side win Euro 2020, he will celebrate by going go-karting with colleague Karim Benzema. The two strikers are set to play together for their squad in the Euro 2020.
Talking with Le Figaro this week, Olivier Giroud affirmed that there was no animosity between the peers.
"There is no motivation to hit it with Karim [Benzema]. The assertions he made about me made me grin and giggle more than everything else. I come at the situation from his perspective. It's difficult to return.
You need to realize how to excuse and not hold resentment. We will both go celebrate [winning Euro 2020] on a go karting circuit. That will make an incredible photograph!"

Olivier Giroud had reacted to Karim Benzema a year ago, saying the remarks had made him chuckle and that he had "no worries" towards the Real Madrid striker.
"I've generally been censured a piece due to Karim Benzema's non appreance, that alleged competition, made up by certain individuals. The anecdote about F1 and the go-kart? The story made me giggle. I have no worries towards him."
"On Benzema's rejection from the public group, I've nothing to say or any information on it. Possibly my vacation would have been exceptional had I played along with Karim Benzema. We'll never know."
Both Benzema and Giroud have been remembered for Didier Deschamps' squad for Euro 2020 this mid year. The French public group are one of the top choices to go as far as possible and lift the prize and Deschamps will trust that the two strikers have well and really let their past go.
